Work-a-holic Wrench TV

So I started to tape the first episode and the next day my camera crapped out on me, so now I need to replace it! But I'm not getting down just yet, just slowed a bit. I've got some serious talent in the cafe racer department, and the speed department in the way of Tim Harney, Chris Henry, and Mark Mayzler, all hailing from Brooklyn NY. These guys have got some serious passion for bikes, and they work out of a self built garage shop in Brooklyn.

I'm looking forward to catching more footage with these guys, and doing some tech shoots, and the like. It's gonna be great and these guys are seriously good quality fabricators and all around good guys.

Check here for more Wrench TV updates! Please drop me a line if you or someone you know should be profiled on the show, and look for the first episode to drop sometime in early October!!

Wrench TV coming soon to a greasy spot near you!

I'd like to write this first post directly from the bowels of my tiny mind.

I'm not going to bore you to tears with my life story save to say that I have been through hell and back, done tons of shit I never wanted to do to make a buck and get by, and because I'm now unemployed, broke, and tired of wasting life, I'm throwing myself at what I love, and I'm doing this because I love bikes, and I have an enormous level of love for guys who are worlds more talented than I will ever be...

I feel like motorcycle coverage in general is total bullshit. Maybe I live under a rock, maybe I'm completely misinformed, and because I'm an anti-social hermetic shit I have no idea that there is some mind blowing coverage of real guys building serious street bikes. Though there are people doing it right (Dice, Greasy Kulture, Chop Cult etc.)

There are guys on the net, and with magazines doing it up, but when I turn on the TV, all I see is old chrome garbage, and occasional coverage of moto GP and that's about it.

I don't see people actually building things, inspiring a new generation to use their hands, I don't see guys who are dedicated to fabrication, racing, creating, however the fuck you feel like saying it. In short, guys who put their heart and soul into machines, drop their souls into their gas tanks, live for two wheels, flying on the air.

So what the fuck is all this crap about? I'm going to do my damndest to change this, I'm going to make a show that I would want to see, showcase real builders, show real communities of wrench wrist-ed people doing what they love.

Why? Because it just doesn't seem that there is a vein of connectivity between all of the genuine bikers that are out there, I find them searching the web, calling one guy who knows a guy who knows a guy etc...I want that to exist, I want these guys to get paid more, build more, make more things happen, more rides, more craziness, and hopefully get into the young minds and show them there's more to life than playstation and internet porn ...

I want to draw lines that connect all these people through the common threads they share, I'm going to make a show, that will be web based for speed, and show these guys and what they dedicate their time to day in and day out. That's not all either I have some other plans for further down the line that will hopefully continue to grow the culture further...

I hope to make tons of friends and help all you builders make some dough, keep twisting metal, and tearing up the roads, and building communities...

So if you are a builder, a chop shop guy, a fabricator, anyone who wrecks bikes in a beautiful way, get in touch so we can shot some video...

With Brotherly Love,

Stevey "Wrench TV"
